Spring is here and if your pond is like mine...it needs some major "Spring Cleaning". Every year as the ice melts the leaves, dead frogs, waste, debris and occasional dog toy lost in the pond over the previous Fall and Winter begin to emerge.
While Spring cleaning a pond is not high on my list of favorite yard chores, it certainly does not need to be the hardest, or most time consuming.
Aquascape has cleverly put together a Spring Starter Kit. The Kit contains the chemicals you will need to begin to achieve and maintain a crystal clear pond...all conveniently packaged together in one container!

ReplyDeleteMy wife really wants me to put in a koi pond in our back yard. I love her so much, so I'm going to do it, but this is really great to get all of these insights and ideas. Does anybody know what the daily maintenance is like for a 5x5' pond?

My property backs up to a creek. During the winter, my yard floods and turns into a lake. I would love some landscaping tips on how to barrier my yard from the flooding.
